Happy Wednesday!! That is why I title mine...Just Show me...(no Thursday)!! I never make it on a Thursday!!--- I have been working on 3 projects..The first one, on the left is for Sassy Cheryl's Challenge.
The top right....another baby card!! This is for a client of mine that just got back from a cruise 6 weeks ago...and now has a souvenir that will always remind her of her cruise!! She is expecting a baby!! Not my idea of a souvenir...she has a 19 year old !! The bottom right is candy holder for a co-worker who helped me out last weekend when I was off!!

And.....16 storks! 3 Dies, and new pro markers.... what a week! Everything came at the same time, but of course they were ordered far apart.....

Looking forward to Thursday evening- A friend of ours, past neighbor from South Carolina is visiting. She is getting off a cruise ship, and is going to spend a day or so with us.... Can't wait to hear all about her cruise. I know there is a lot to share! From what I understand it is an amazing vacation.

Happy Wednesday....one day before the new Show Me!!

On my desk...well not my desk, because that is upstairs!! Kinda moved to the dinning room table, because my desk is too full with a baby album that I am in the middle of!!

I have a card ready to mail....paint samples that I have to choose a color for a wall near the kitchen. The red & blue paint chips are for a project I hope to get to soon. (NO, I am not painting a wall Blue & Red!!)

I can't tell because I may have nothing for next week show me!!!!

Way to the left is my new PortHole Magazine. I am saving that for our trip to Orlando on Friday.

Attending the PGA show with Mac & Brendan. Brendan is coming down from Isle of Palms, SC.

YAY...I get to see a lot of our missed friends....And see Brendan too!

Any yes...I can't forget my moose!! I attended a seminar given by Anchorage, AK Chamber of Commerce. He is a thank you gift for attending.

So much to do.....and I had to go back to the place I had my oil change to have them reset my maintenance light! I sure miss Jennifer (Jeni) and Lavin cars. This is the second time I had to do this....

I think I have learned. I am not leaving until I know that my light has been reset!

Happy New Year to all.....

My first project of the new year....Baby mini album. Staying away from the baby colors (pastels).

I moved to South Florida for the warmth? Sure is cold here in West Palm Beach....

I went to a ship inspection on Tuesday to Orlando, FL.....It was COLD there. We toured the Disney Dream. It was beautiful. We saw many of the Characters... Just amazing, well worth every penny. And to all those like me.....There are adult only areas, where the kids are not allowed!! Don't think that since school is in session, there are no kids!! That ship is FULL every sailing.

The ride to Orlando (Port Canaveral) was about 2 hours. We had lunch in the Enchanted Garden and headed home. The next day we played catch up!!

Heading to the office early today, as there is a sales meeting this afternoon, and as it is, there isn't enough hours in the day!!

Wow- I didn't realize how many people are cruising...We get 800 plus email requests for information per day. It is just impossible to talk to everyone. Our phones ring nonstop. Prices change within the day sometimes 2 or 3 times. Of course never down, just up.

Merry Christmas to all..... My last post I forgot two special people who sent me sent me birthday gifts.
My scrapbook buddies...... Sarah and Sharon. Sarah gave me a gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's digital images and Sharon a gift card to AC Moore. Two of my favorite things from two of my favorite people.

I needed gifts for work....then remembered that Judy made Hershey bar wrappers.....Well, the night before I needed them.....I was coloring snowmen!! and wrapping candy bars!

Here is a picture of the big box that came to our house. It was from Brendan. He sent gifts all wrapped. Cinnamon of course checked the box for treats. He got his treats today from Santa.

I received this beautiful ornament of Rainbow row. The famous houses in Charleston. He also gave me a gift card to Michaels. Yay-- can't wait to go shopping.

Update on the Christmas tree....1 string of lights burned out of the prelit tree!! Oh well....worry about it next Christmas

Show Me # 55

Finally time to post...here is what has been going on with me! I went on a great cruise, actually it was a seminar at sea, so it was a work cruise. It was on the Norwegian Epic.
Mac got a kidney stone, so he wasn't able to come.

We were all lucky because the trainer had to be in Las Vegas for someone or something more important than us....so only one seminar and one cocktail party!

We went to the ICE BAR...and that was what it was, a bar that was made of ice, ice seating, ice ceiling etc etc They served Vodka drinks. They furnished heavy coats, and advised everyone to wear warm clothes and closed toe shoes!! I did not bring closed toe shoes. We were just in there long enough to have our two drinks. Took pictures and were we out of there. When you talk to others about this....it seemed the guests that were from the north managed better in the ice bar better than the Floridians did!

At home....my craft table came and was waiting for me when I got home. The Monday after I got home was my birthday! I received a beautiful ornament from my son. He got it at the Holiday Festival of Lights that was held on James Island, SC, plus other goodies, and a beautiful card. Beautiful roses from my husband. See the picture in the middle on the bottom. There was the a bouquet of flowers, balloon, and a card sitting on my desk from all at WMPH Vacations. What a nice thing for a company to do.

It was such a nice Christmas party.

I am thankful that all the lights worked when I plugged in the tree! Every year, we had to replace lights.

I am thankful the plantation shutters were installed on time....this past Saturday, and all the star fish made the move.....still waiting for the bed...lost again!! They blamed it on the computer this time....2 months and no one can tell us where it is.

I am thankful that we are finally settled in our new house, beautiful weather, and no maintenance.

I am thankful that we were able to install the "sunsetter " awning. The plantation shutters installer helped us go that last 2 inches and into the brackets.

I am thankful for all my friends and family

especially our son, Brendan, and our kitty, Cinnamon

AND

I am most thankful that my husband, Mac,

who I took to the ER this morning, is feeling better. He is still in the hospital with a kidney stone. As many know it is very painful .

Sure glad the theme is anything goes.

I have decided that walking on tile instead of carpet...my feet hurt! Having an upstairs takes some getting use to!! My feel felt just like this when we moved into our house in SC. I guess I just have to break them into the hard tile again.

I was up early, started putting up the Christmas tree at 6:30am!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. The first one I was able to enjoy, and didn't have to be at work at 4am!

I have been so busy, with a new job and the new house. I have done so many ship inspections, that they are all running together!! I have taken pictures, so that helps. I feel like I have been in Miami more than I have been in West Palm Beach!! I am sure getting use to the traffic. Now the drive to Delray Beach is a breeze!!

This is a house warming card for the first neighbor that has moved in after us!

Actually we have not moved in yet. We have been busy getting fans installed, pictures hung, and boxes unpacked. The plantation shutters have been ordered, but we are waiting for 4-5 weeks on them and we are still waiting on the master bedroom bed.

This past weekend the security system was installed. I also moved over all my scrapbook stuff!! I still have Disney training to do, and it needs to be completed by October 31st!! I was told it takes 3 weeks to complete...and I haven't started yet!

REALLY getting tired of this condo. I am finding that what I want and need is at the house, and I have to stop there before going to work!!

And the stuff in the condo hasn't been factored in yet! ~ His question.....How did you get all this stuff? Paper is heavy!~

My weeks fly by....I did manage to complete some Halloween treat holders.......if anyone wants the tutorial, let me know I will search, find, and send!

My new home away from home. My new office....loving my new career. It is in Delray Beach, Fl......about 20 minutes drive from West Palm Beach... about the same as I was driving from Little River, to Myrtle Beach.... Reeds Jewelers.....and NO musty mall! And I now have hot water... and that is just the beginning!

My husband surprised me Friday night.... he sent me an address, and asked to meet him after work....
He went to school with a guy who owns the Old Key Lime House in Lantana, Fl

We were invited to cruise on his Tiki Boat. It was a nice cruise that took us down the Waterway ....to Boynton Beach, Fl... He invited us to dinner....what a wonderful surprise.

Today is my Skype day....I get to talk to my brother and his children. We catch up with what we both did all week........

Now that today is my day off......It will involve grocery shopping, taking my husband's lap top for service...and if they say there is no hope or it is not worth it to me to put more money into it....I will be buying a new one!!

Tough week.....but a good week....went to South Carolina.....North Myrtle Beach & Little River....and we did go to Myrtle Beach.... Brendan our so drive up from Isle of Palms. SC to spend two days with us.....It was great to be a tourist...I saw things that I had never seen before!! I did things I never did when I lived there...... Today is Labor day...and maybe the first time that I am not working on Labor day.....Yeah... off to the pool I go! One week from today, I start my new job......

…where did this week go.....Oh yeah.... Hurricane, the new house, manicure, and pedicure, and packing for my visit to Myrtle Beach....for a while I thought it may be cancelled. Hopefully I will be able to fly into Wilmington....I guess time will tell, I best be ready. Hurricanes are not a new experience for us. A lot less stressful when there is no property involved....this time I worry about Brendan in Isle of palms....and so glad he wasn't in Puntacana. I saw the pictures from there.

Now my pictures- I am working on our coffee table and on the sofa, just finished my Challenge card, and about to start a new scrapbooking project. Take a look at our storm lantern, my hurricane preparedness purchase. Thank goodness I went on Monday because yesterday Walmart had empty shelves. Brendan went to his Walmart, and it was empty also! Anyway….I am prepared!

I went to look at the completed landscaping at our house…looks great. And the new plantings will get lots of water soon.

Heading to the post office…the 24 hr automated post office….to mail our tags to N Myrtle Beach, don't want a problem at the airport…..now that we have Florida tags & am turning my SC ones in (sad ) But it does make me feel that I belong here now.

I went to get gas yesterday.....there were long lines, can people be preparing for the hurricane this soon? Maybe I will give in and go get water and batteries......and a flashlight for the batteries!!! I keep thinking about my hurricane preparedness box that is packed in our POD in South Carolina!! What was I thinking?, packing it away.....oh yeah....no more room in my car!!

I have finally used those house images that you have been seeing for weeks!! JoyFold cards....and many of them...I decided to make my change of address cards....Just in case I don't have time once we move!! Signing the contract tomorrow. Let the building begin....Actually most is done...only 60 days needed to complete!!

Just below is my altered composition book.....I needed something that I could keep tract of all the little details of the construction, and moving!! ~ It is exciting ~
Will someone remind me why I thought I needed a Realtor? We found this development on our own...Gave up looking for a pre-owned home. All the developments are gated, so I couldn't find anything on my own. I guess I thought a Realtor here would be like the awesome one we had in SC....

In the book is a red business card.....My first scrapbooking friend! She works at Oakton Preserve, and understood why I needed to take many pictures!! I had to have the "before" pictures, so that I can scrapbook the whole journey!!

Easy Challenge, right? Nope...of all of the supplies I moved....not one piece of lace, not even a lacy punch. Mac & I took a trip to Naples Fl for the weekend. The hotel we stayed at had a paper doily........I was so excited to find a piece of lace, even though it was paper....I kept it safe with all the other items I collected for my scrapbook pages...

My challenge card is complete....Sorry- unless I remove the kitty....I can't get his tail to move off my words!

I have so much to show you this week....My husband had to work all week, so no excursion days....

I started and completed our 30th wedding anniversary cruise from 2009! It was our cruise to Bermuda from Charleston, SC

On Sunday I wanted to go house hunting, but my Realtor didn't have houses ready for me to see.....so to make me feel better, I also took a ride out to the local scrapbook store to take a look at their QK (Lifestyle Crafts) Tropical release....I had already received the ones I ordered. I thought I could see the ones I didn't have "in person". You will see the adorable palm trees I got, and have already used below.

I made the coconut card at their "make & take"....The drink umbrella is one of the new dies. The coconut is just made by a circle, that is cut off. Let me correct that.....I tried to make the "make & take" card there.....I needed "my tools" My atg gun, and my pop dots, and my sentiment.......so I re-did it at home.... AND MADE IT BETTER!!

Below this coconut card is my recipe swap.....Not due until the middle of August.....but all done. I originally was going to use the houses that I have been coloring off and on for weeks now....but didn't. Instead I used them on my Cruise layout.

The last Picture is of Cinnamon. He just loves to watch out the window. We have a sliding glass door that looks over the golf course. He likes to watch the mowers, the big white birds, and any lizard that is brave enough to climb up to the third floor balcony! I do keep the blinds closed to keep some of the heat out of the condo, but that is no problem for Cinnamon!

This weekend we are taking an excursion to Naples, Fl. We have visited Naples many times, as my husband's mom lived there for years.

Good Morning- Happy Show Me! I am have been enjoying the Bugaboo Challenge this week. The theme is Christmas in July. I just need to be careful...I can't get burned out so early. Christmas is not my favorite Holiday...(Retail killed that for me!)....but is fun to get those snowman out, especially with the hot weather.

Watching HGTV, and coloring.....and hoping I will find a house here in South Florida. I just wish the people here would have listened to HGTV, and cleaned, uncluttered, and made their home presentable for the camera....Really different than SC...homes are just not neat, and clean....they don't even clean them up for the pictures!
Just below are my house images again...I am hoping to get the change of address cards done soon. I signed up for a recipe swap....crazy huh....but I think I will use this paper and the house images...hmm I need 3 embellishments...and I have to do 7 of them....

Maintenance people for this condo gave us a 2 day window to upgrade the shower shower head ...they have come and it is done.....

Little late with the show me this week....Awesome week~ A few wonderful days spent with our son, Brendan.
This is all the stuff I have been working on....coloring , and I started to make a card for the Cottage Cutz challenge. I hope to start the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge card today.

Brendan arrived safely from PuntaCana, Dominican Republic. He traveled with PB Dye (famous golf course designer)...who lives here in the West Palm Beach area, part time. Brendan bought a car, (he didn't want to pay that baggage fee again and buy a car in SC). He drove to South Carolina, with His car FULL with his 5 plus over-sized bags. He is visiting friends in the North Myrtle Beach area for a few days before he starts his new position at Wild Dunes, at Isle of Palms, SC. His first stop was to see Sarah...He said he needed a real haircut!Thank You Sarah...I know Brendan missed you. I miss Sarah too, my hair stylist and scrapbook buddy. I miss Sharon also, especially with free days to scrapbook and no body to scrapbook with me except my kitty! BTW- Cinnamon was glad to see Brendan....
Brendan brought me this wonderful bird book, and all these Pesos~ 1 Dominican Peso = 0.0264 US Dollars! Keeping my scrapbooking in mind....
definitely a scrapbook item... just can't use them all!! But I will find something for them! I got to speak to Jennifer on the phone...she helped Brendan ease the stress of car buying out of town. Thank You Jennifer.

Show me time at Sassy Cheryl's site..... Really easy, you just need to take a picture of what you are working on!! I finished the Tom Cat layout, and I just finished completing layouts of a cruise we took in 2009...Feels so good to get it done, as we took the same cruise this past January!! I also won this adorable image....see the cute monkey? "Feeling Tyred" Thank You Jak Heath. I just finished a card with this adorable guy! It is at the bottom of this post.

Enjoying South Florida and beginning to get use to the traffic! I can actually get to the grocery store and back home!! I was thrilled that I remembered the code to the gate since my blackberry decided to reboot when I was at the gate.....It seems to take forever to reboot...maybe I should put the code somewhere else other than in my phone!!

I have more exciting news, Brendan is flying in to Miami on Tuesday....I am going to pick him up!! It can't be that hard, I made it all the way here from South Carolina....I can go another 1 1/2 hours down the road! Have a great week...

Here is what I am working on. I am actually getting some scrapbooking done. It is a 2 page layout of a scrapbooking crop with my friends Sarah & Sharon, who I miss. I packing, packing and more packing!! Today I have actually taken the day off from packing!! I am scrapbooking with my friend Sharon. I guess I can't say scrapbooking.....haven't done much of that!! I am now sorting "stuff," all the things you collect on trips that is saved for the scrapbook!! I am trying to put them in page planners so that I have them, when I am ready to scrapbook. I will not be scrapbooking again until after I move.
I have given my notice that I am leaving Reeds Jewelers. My last day is June 2nd which is the closing date of our house. I am so excited.....I still have tons of stuff to do!!

Well the underlining went away, along with the TEXT! I can't believe I am rewriting this whole thing. Now there is a black dot!!

Well.... I finished my card early this time. I am liking this little girl...
I am in the middle of packing. I just can't believe how I accumulated so much stuff. I can open my own scrapbook store!! I am thinking this all happen the last time we moved. All or most of my scrapbooking supplies were in storage, so I bought everything I needed... I am finding stuff I didn't know I had!! I am organized now. I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!!

My refrigerator is FINALLY being fixed. The compressor that came last time was damaged in shipment, and it had to be reordered!! It is finally here. I can have ice tonight..and Cinnamon the kitty doesn't have to have his fish in the wine cooler anymore. Now that he finally stopped sitting by the refrigerator waiting for fish, and has moved across the room to the wine cooler....
We had a bad storm two nights ago. I went to the garage to get something out of the garage refrigerator, and some how Cinnamon got in the garage without me knowing it. Cinnamon slept in the garage all night. I had one upset kitty in the morning.!!
Now I am waiting on my POD....and it has arrived!! Now I have to fill it!

Happy Mother's Day to all. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Early morning message from my son , Brendan in PuntaCana, Dominican Republic, and one from my husband. A perfect way to start my day. On my way to work, (yes I had to work....my boss had all the mothers working today, and the fathers off...what's up with that?) I got notification that Mac's flowers would not arrive on time..... The biggest surprise was that he never sends flowers on Mother's Day,
as he always says you are not my mother!
Busy working, helping each and every person find the perfect Mother's day gift and in came a guy with a long box and a balloon that says Happy Mother's Day. He says I have a delivery for ....... Janetlynne Hood, and I said that is ME!!
It was from my son, Brendan. I love you Brendan. You did great.
Hope everyone had a Great Mother's Day.

I am in the process of organizing, which includes cleaning out... HOW IN THE WORLD did I manage to collect so much stuff!! This is just 5 boxes of paper scraps that would fit on my kitchen table (haven't brought the other boxes out!)....all different colors,.... I am trying to organize my paper scraps 6" or bigger....
I saw this chart, this morning, and thought how perfect is that!! I just had to post!!.

How very true...My husband always says how many different blues, etc do you need!!

I used glossy accents on the water, and on the little girl's swimsuit....not sure the picture will show it. I also used a pop dot to raise the startfish up alittle.

Time to peek at everyone's desk, and what they are up to..... I am working on my Sassy Cheryl's Challenge card, a Spring card, and a kitty card!! I received these really fun die cuts, (the red & white squares). I have been searching for the name of the company who makes the die....and finally found it. Now I just have to place an order.

Lets see on my desk other than the Sassy Cheryl's image.....I have my Promarkers color chart. I just got some new markers, and I need to mark my color chart...so that is right in the middle to remind me. In bottom corner is a kitty die cut, which looks just like our kitty, Cinnamon. I want to make Brendan a card, since Cinnamon is actually his kitty. Cinnamon will be 18, April 15th!

In the top left is a really cute 3-D die cut of a moving box, with a insert for the new address. As some of you know, there is a move in my future. I just don't know when! I am taking the chance that none of my customers read my blog, and if they do.....I hope they will email me privately.

I had a busy day off, back to work tomorrow..

I combined one of my favorite Sassy Cheryl's image, and probaby my favorite type of card. Here is what I was working on this morning, three thank you notes. They are easel cards with the boy golfer image from Sassy Cheryl....one of my many favorites....

Behind my cards is my new purchase. A new holder for my markers. I love that I can see the colors!...I have been looking for something for a long time now, and so far this is working for me...

Also on my desk is the beginning of my Sassy Cheryl's Challenge card.....not sure what I am going to do with it yet.

In the picture below are the completed easel cards...I was able to get them in the mail to our new friends in Puntacana, Dominican Republic.

Wow what a day.... very pleased to have been able to get in & out of the DMV in 15 minutes! I beleive it was a record!!.................................

"Oh My", is just all I have to say~ It has been a whirlwind here. So much to do lately, but getting it done. It was my first day off since our trip to PuntaCana, DR...

I can't wait to go through my pictures, and scrapbook our trip.

Looking forward to some nice weather. It was a beautiful day today. Lets hope it will continue. Can you believe it is almost a month from tax day? Just received a letter from our accountant. He has decided to retire. Can you imagine at a busy time of the year? Oh well...just another, "Oh My"!

Two days late....Busy week in the jewelry store, with Valentines Day just around the corner....but it is here~ my work space. I am in the process of making an accordion card. I have been playing with this since last Sunday!! I also have a packet full of pictures that I need to scrapbook. I just can't decide what size album I want to use....I am off this Sunday, and will begin to work on some projects. It seems my work space never changes! Back from a wonderful cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, and The PGA Merchandise show in Orlando Fla. We had beautiful weather. Took many pictures...can't wait to scrapbook them...Came home to a very lonely kitty. Even though he was taken good care of by my friend Sharon, he was thrilled to see us come through the door. Leaving for The PGA show in Orlando, Fla ....so I am showing you what I am bringing with me, and leaving!!!! Well of course I need to bring my challenge card... in the black 'tote" are my copics and promarkers along with other Sassy Cheryl images....including the Color Me Image. I hope to make the cards in time before we leave for our cruise on Saturday.. posted & linked...

Back to my desk..I got this really cute card in a mingle this week. It looks like a matchbook card...but I think it is a premade card...when I have time I am going to try to duplicate it!! Way to the left of the picture are two page planners with everything in it ready for me to scrap!! Under the little golfer guy are pictures that I need to scrap. They are really is the most important ones to scrap next...The problem is I work retail, so I think it will have to wait until after Valentines day...

Time to snoop at other desk tops.....mine just hasn't had much going on. I have been busy. My brother and his family came this past weekend, so my day off on this past Sunday was used to spend time with him, which was very much enjoyed....

I did get my pictures that I had planned to scrapbook today, my day off....but things have changed, so I will just finish my challenge card, and make a get well card for a friend.... Our cruise is coming up fast....so actually packing is more of a priority today!!
