Our son has made it to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic safely, and has started his amazing career, as assistant golf pro. We tracked his plane all the way...Oddly he had to fly from Myrtle Beach,SC inland to Charlotte, NC...then fly back to the coast!! Thank you for all the wonderful positive comments. It is hard on me, as he is our only child, and first time away from home, other than a vacation.......I was able to finish his scrapbook.....I had to complete 9 pages....These are the 4 pages I was working on last Wednesday.
Hi ya Jane
ReplyDeleteaww cute image, wow good luck to your son, gorgeous scarpbook pages, have great day, happy WOYWW, sue,x (13)
Love those pictures. I recently flew to LA (south and west of me) by going through Minneapolis (north and east). But the real kicker was flying to Dallas (south), then Denver (west) to get to Atlanta (south east). I wish your son the best of luck in his new and totally awesome career move. Happy WOYWW (no. 12).
ReplyDeleteUmmm, looks like you're going to have a lot of pages done while your son is away! That is indeed an amazing career! Patsy #3

ReplyDeletesuch a sweet bear and love the photos of your son heading off, the airline must have been rubbing their greedy hands with glee at all those bags!! I hope the separation isn't too hard on you all but like I said last week, what a place to go and visit him for a vacation!

Have you booked your flight to the DR yet? Glad he made it there safe and sound. Too bad you can't earn airmiles with the cost of exra baggage! Love the scrapbook pages. Linda C #86
ReplyDeleteWonderful LO's and lovely reading about your son. Good luck to him and whilst it's hard to let them go... that's what you've got to do to keep them.

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to visit my blog and leave a comment. I can sympathise with your feelings about seeing your son going off on his big adventure. I had very mixed feelings when our son went off to Australia for his first time. Hopefully you can keep in touch through the internet now and follow his progress that way until he returns safely. Just a warning - our son came back with twice the baggage he went with!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely scrapbook pages you have made. I'm a newbie to the WOYWW so please be gentle with me!! Best wishes, Kym (No 42)
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about letting go - as how big they are, and where they are you still worry about them. That's the price of being a mum.
ReplyDeleteLove the LO's you have done - smiled at the luggage! Keep scrappin' and it will help (along with all those wonderful visits you will have - and the telephone calls)
YOU ARE SUCH A SPECIAL MOM! AND SO VERY TALENTED TOO!
