Sassy Cheryl's Show me #56

Merry Christmas to all.....   My last post I forgot two special people who sent me sent me birthday gifts.
My scrapbook buddies......  Sarah and Sharon.  Sarah gave me a gift certificate to Sassy Cheryl's digital images and Sharon a gift card to AC Moore. Two of my favorite things from two of my favorite people.

 I needed gifts for work....then remembered that Judy made Hershey bar wrappers.....Well, the night before I needed them.....I was coloring snowmen!! and wrapping candy bars!

Here is a picture of the big box that came to our house. It was from Brendan. He sent gifts all wrapped. Cinnamon of course checked the box for treats. He got his treats today from Santa.

I received this beautiful ornament of Rainbow row. The famous houses in Charleston. He also gave me a gift card to Michaels. Yay-- can't wait to go shopping.

Update on the Christmas tree....1 string of lights burned out of the prelit tree!! Oh well....worry about it next Christmas

Show Me # 55

 

Finally time to post...here is what has been going on with me! I went on a great cruise, actually it was a seminar at sea, so it was a work cruise. It was on the Norwegian Epic.
 Mac got a kidney stone, so he wasn't able to come.

We were all lucky because the trainer had to be in Las Vegas for someone or something more important than us....so only one seminar and one cocktail party!

We went to the ICE BAR...and that was what it was, a bar that was made of ice, ice seating, ice ceiling etc etc  They served Vodka drinks. They furnished heavy coats, and advised everyone to wear warm clothes and closed toe shoes!!  I did not bring closed toe shoes.  We were just in there long enough to have our two drinks. Took pictures and were we out of there. When you talk to others about this....it seemed the guests that were from the north managed better in the ice bar better than the Floridians did!

At home....my craft table came and was waiting for me when I got home. The Monday after I got home was my birthday! I received a beautiful ornament from my son. He got it at the Holiday Festival of Lights that was held on James Island, SC, plus other goodies, and a beautiful card. Beautiful roses from my husband. See the picture in the middle on the bottom. There was the a bouquet of flowers, balloon, and a card sitting on my desk from  all at WMPH Vacations. What a nice thing for a company to do.

 It was such a nice Christmas party.

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me #52

I am thankful that all the lights worked when I plugged in the tree! Every year, we had to replace lights.

I am thankful the plantation shutters were installed on time....this past Saturday, and all the star fish made the move.....still waiting for the bed...lost again!! They blamed it on the computer this time....2 months and no one can tell us where it is.

I am thankful that we are finally settled in our new house, beautiful weather, and no maintenance.

I am thankful that we were able to install the "sunsetter " awning. The plantation shutters installer helped us go that last 2 inches and into the brackets.

I am thankful for all my friends and family

especially our son, Brendan, and our kitty, Cinnamon

AND

I am most thankful that my husband, Mac,

who I took to the ER this morning, is feeling better. He is still in the hospital with a kidney stone. As many know it is very painful .

This is my card for Sassy Cheryl's Anything goes Challenge. This is actually the card I lost and never got posted for the embossing challenge!

Sure glad the theme is anything goes.

I have decided that walking on tile instead of carpet...my feet hurt! Having an upstairs takes some getting use to!! My feel felt just like this when we moved into our house in SC. I guess I just have to break them into the hard tile again.

I was up early, started putting up the Christmas tree at 6:30am!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. The first one I was able to enjoy, and didn't have to be at work at 4am!

It has been a while since I played along. Moving time is getting close. We purchased TVs now we are waiting for the cable company to install....and hook up the internet.

There was a beautiful rainbow over our house....actually a double rainbow that we saw when we left the development.

I have actually started my card for the Sassy Cheryl's challenge.
