Fall Crop ~ Reunion

Every year Sarah, Sharon and I would scrapbook. It was always in the fall, before the holidays set in.

This year we thought we would all get together again, this time in Virginia at Sharon's house. 

I flew from West Palm Beach, Florida, and met Sarah in Atlanta. 

What an exciting weekend. Even though it was nothing like it had been in the past,  but we did have fun..

On the way home...I didn't make it through security! I had this cute mouse cheese knife ! 

I forgot about it completely. Sarah told Sean that we are scrapbookers and we really needed his picture with the cheese knife so that we could scrap our experience at the airport. He said sure- my mom scrapbooks and she has lots of this stuff, pointing to all my paper, dies, and markers etc. 

So below is the mouse who caused all the excitements and laughs at the airport.

I just finished the first layout....For this trip.

This past weekend we hosted an Engagement Party for Brendan and Danielle in Charleston.. I will get that posted soon.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog # 173 Red, White & Blue with a Sassy Image

Hope everyone had a fantastic Fourth of July weekend. I have started many count downs-- The closest is when Brendan and Danielle visit from Charleston, SC in August ~ Exactly one month from today! Can't wait to celebrate with the newly engaged couple. Of course the engagement party and the wedding are major count down events too!!

Our cruise is in between! We love Celebrity reflection so much, we are going on that ship again!

This is a gate fold card ~ me with my fancy folds! The ribbon is the belly band! 

Here is a tutorial so you can try...   My card is turned so it opens top up/ bottom down...so it isn't even a regular gate fold!!  It really depends how the image you are using including fits!

Challenge #168 - "Step Cards" w/a Sassy Cheryl Image!

I love fancy fold cards.....and this card I have been planning for some time!

I am thrilled to announce My son, Brendan and his beautiful girlfriend are engaged!!   This happened on Saturday June 1st, on  their 1 year dating anniversary! Brendan proposed at the battery in Charleston, SC

They started their day with a parasailing adventure. A relaxing afternoon at the pool before their dinner at a wonderful restaurant downtown Charleston....... then the detour happened!!!

Brendan  wanted to walk around the tip of the Peninsula in downtown Charleston. Very picturesque.

 As soon as Brendan spotted the photographer~ off to the water- and Brendan Popped the question....She said YES!
