Good Morning!

Cinnamon our 20 old kitty has a plastic lizard - on the floor this morning was a lizard and I proceeded to pick it up. It moved - what a shock - I looked around and plastic lizard was across the room. What a way to start a morning. As you see the color is different but the size is close. It was early morning! 

Fall Crop ~ Reunion

Every year Sarah, Sharon and I would scrapbook. It was always in the fall, before the holidays set in.

This year we thought we would all get together again, this time in Virginia at Sharon's house. 

I flew from West Palm Beach, Florida, and met Sarah in Atlanta. 

What an exciting weekend. Even though it was nothing like it had been in the past,  but we did have fun..

On the way home...I didn't make it through security! I had this cute mouse cheese knife ! 

I forgot about it completely. Sarah told Sean that we are scrapbookers and we really needed his picture with the cheese knife so that we could scrap our experience at the airport. He said sure- my mom scrapbooks and she has lots of this stuff, pointing to all my paper, dies, and markers etc. 

So below is the mouse who caused all the excitements and laughs at the airport.

I just finished the first layout....For this trip.

This past weekend we hosted an Engagement Party for Brendan and Danielle in Charleston.. I will get that posted soon.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Fourth of July weekend. I have started many count downs-- The closest is when Brendan and Danielle visit from Charleston, SC in August ~ Exactly one month from today! Can't wait to celebrate with the newly engaged couple. Of course the engagement party and the wedding are major count down events too!!

Our cruise is in between! We love Celebrity reflection so much, we are going on that ship again!

This is a gate fold card ~ me with my fancy folds! The ribbon is the belly band! 

Here is a tutorial so you can try...   My card is turned so it opens top up/ bottom down...so it isn't even a regular gate fold!!  It really depends how the image you are using including fits!

I love fancy fold cards.....and this card I have been planning for some time!

I am thrilled to announce My son, Brendan and his beautiful girlfriend are engaged!!   This happened on Saturday June 1st, on  their 1 year dating anniversary! Brendan proposed at the battery in Charleston, SC

They started their day with a parasailing adventure. A relaxing afternoon at the pool before their dinner at a wonderful restaurant downtown Charleston....... then the detour happened!!!

Brendan  wanted to walk around the tip of the Peninsula in downtown Charleston. Very picturesque.

 As soon as Brendan spotted the photographer~ off to the water- and Brendan Popped the question....She said YES!

It is a fun fold, and I have seen it done in different heights. This one I am following the tutorial top right corner. It is cold here in South Florida...planning to stay in, and get my cards done. I have tons of pictures to scrap also.

I got a DT position with Die-Version for June!! One of my favorite brands of dies. They are very much like Quickutz!

We got our plane tickets to go see our son, Brendan and his girlfriend Danielle. April 17th.... And the countdown begins...............

Good Morning All- Happy Friday to me! I know it is Thursday.....but Friday, and Saturday are my days off.....so I start counting down to my weekend today!

Here is my challenge card that I designed late night as I worked to 11:30pm, and was too wide awake to sleep!

This is a buckle card, following the blue theme. It is a fun fold- probably not a favorite of mine, but a very easy card to make. Give it a try, the tutorial is top right of this blog.....The image is a Sassy Cheryl image~ Sassy Sally & Her Favorite Blankie and a wonderful Die-Version die, called Sweet spots- You and Me The notch that the tab goes into is a window punch. I made this card for the Die-Version DT call and just now decided who to send this card to, so I added the sentiment! It is a joy-fold card, as many of you know it is a favorite of mine.

Recent Projects

I was going through pictures and found some projects that never made it to my blog!

The wine glasses and mini albums were made for Christmas gifts, and I did not want to spoil the surprise, same for the valentine gifts! I just completed the two page layout for Brendan and Danielle from their trip to Aruba in December.

I have used 2 different die-version dies that I recently got. They are so much fun to use...and cut so easily!,
